I’ve spent some time finding an application about synchronising my iTunes Library across different locations. I have my iTunes Music Library saved in three different locations. My MacBook Pro’s hard drive, my LaCie Mobile Drive and on my LaCie Desktop Drive. I know that it’s quite idiotic to have three copies of the same folder, but it was a couple of years ago that my PowerBook’s hard drive crashed and lost everything. From that point I learned my lesson and here I am now about an issue that I came across. There are some application that synchronising , ChronoSync, Unison, but it came down to Get BackUp 2 to be the more straightforward and easy to use. It features a simple interface with tabs at he bottom that stores your synchronisations with the folders you choose. The backup process it pretty easy as well, the application offers five icons, iPhoto, Mailbox, iTunes, Documents, Address Book, once you click one it automatically adds the folder to the backup process, all you have to do after that is to pick the destination.
